Guleff, Republican candidate for U.S. Congress believes that race and gender
should not be factors in this congressional election. The pandering from
political candidates and preachers to elect someone from the African-American
community to Harold Ford's seat has gone too far.
After
giving it much thought and deliberation, it is appropriate that we take a
position on this sensitive topic. “I want to go on record in recognizing
fellow midtowner Steve Cohen's decision to become a "black woman,” says
Tom. This has recently come to light in his acknowledgement of his voting record
and his public pronouncements.
It's
up to all of us to support Steve Cohen's transformation efforts. If you've seen
Steve Cohen lately, you know this will be difficult. Steve will need the latest
fashions from "Baby Phat" and a full line of "Lady

am a new breed of Republican who will not shy away from the fray. Pandering will
no longer carry the day. It solves no problems, it educates no one, and it
creates no social wealth. There will be no safety in this realm for Steve Cohen.
