The FORD Minivan is leaving the Building

Campaign Tour Plan Begins

Memphis, TN -- April 19, 2006 –  Tom Guleff, Republican candidate for the 9th District is now thinking about leasing a minivan to carry Joe & Jake Ford around Memphis. “It seems we've added another passenger in the congressional race,” says Tom. “Joe and I were going to sport around in a new red Mustang, but with Jake coming on board, we’re going to need a minivan. Cassette deck included.”

“I am looking forward to giving both Ford’s a tour of our town, says candidate Tom and the minivan better have air, because its probably going to be a long hot summer.”

Campaign workers are going to make sure that the minivan will not be one that folks are trucking up from New Orleans . “Since, I am not into the whole fundraising scene, I am footing the bill, says Tom.  We’re hoping that Joe can chip in on gas and Jake has some mechanical skills, because this vehicle has the potential for break downs. But this would be a great way to meet and greet voters.  If you see us on the side of the road, please stop. There will be at least one of us that you can support.”

Guleff ’s campaign workers had extensive plans mapped out for this minivan tour.  But with gas closing in at $3.00/g al lon, they may have to sc al e it back to just driving over the new the bridge to West Memphis , as a show stopper. They are determined to still stay with the expensive dinner planned at one of the truck stops. The planned entrée is going to be S al isbury steak. Then it’s in the minivan for a ride back to the Pyramid.

If you want to help Joe, Jake, or Tom contact electtomguleff@aol.com or go to the website www.tomguleff.com  Every e-mail will be answered.
