9^th District Congressional Candidate launches the website that professional politicians don't want you to see.

The website (www.tomguleff.com) wasn't even officially up when it started receiving an average of 1 hit every 4 minutes. “People are hungry for straightforward talk and a campaign that is different from top to bottom. Our campaign worries some folks, especially when our candidate has such a diverse background of experiences. Some thought they had it all figured out, and it shakes their confidence when they longer can predict the future with outdated assumptions,” says Tom Guleff.

The site is unique to most campaign webs. There's not a lot flag waving, there's no pictures of the candidate posing with paid lobbyists and power brokers. There are no links to special interest groups, and no donation link for the candidate to shake down the visitor through a paypal account. It seems like most politicians are using their websites like e-bay.

It is obvious that this is “Not-the-traditional-vote-for-me-because……” website. Hopefully the visitor comes away with a better feeling of who the candidate is. There are pictures of the candidate along with photos of the times that shaped his life. There is something that is refreshing about this way of telling our story, not packaged on Madison Avenue to hide from the real issues.
