Congressional Candidate Gets Hit By Crime

Memphis , TN – May 25, 2006 -- Tom Guleff, a congressional candidate for the U.S. Congress 9th District, is outraged over the crime that recently hit his family. “Our home was ransacked and burglarized on Tuesday in broad daylight. The police came out and took photos and a report. No one is safe from these attacks in our city. My family and I understand first hand the anger and frustration over these types of incidents,” says Tom.

“What makes this frightening is that my wife believes the burglars were in the house when she pulled in the drive way,” says Tom. Something has to change in this town. Citizens deserve better than this, whether you are a candidate for U.S. Congress or not.

The thrust of my campaign has centered on crime, education, and jobs. This home invasion has strengthened my resolve to bring change to this district. I’m not going to back down on these issues. My message is this: I am the candidate who has continued to speak out against crime and corruption. We have to bring about change and make a difference in our community.
