Commercial Appeal Endorsement

    Memphis, TN – July 17, 2006 –Tom Guleff , Republican candidate for the 9th Congressional District earned the Commercial Appeal’s Editorial Board endorsement for the Republican Primary on Sunday. “This is a culmination of the efforts of our great campaign volunteers,” states Tom. They have worked tirelessly in getting our message out. Although this is a very serious endeavor, we've tried to have a little fun along the way. Our message is simple, "You don't have to pay to t al k to Tom." We are having great conversations with Memphians regardless of party affiliation about the Memphis all of us want.  

     The bar for the endorsement was set very high. That's why this endorsement is special . Our focus will continue to be one of a Memphis agenda that is concerned about crime, education, and jobs.  

    Our campaign staff understands the long road ahead. Earning this endorsement means a lot to our campaign which began in January. “ Memphis has given me so many opportunities in scouting, sports, a nomination to West Point , business, and now a chance to serve in Congress. It will be impossible to pay this back,” says Tom.
