Wicked step-sisters haven’t shown up yet

Memphis , TN -- April 3, 2006 – In the rush of last minute petition filings, Cinder al la received an invitation to the b al l. In case you haven’t heard, Republican Candidate for the 9th District Tom Guleff has been named the Cinderella candidate by black t al k radio hosts on Re al T al k Radio. Guleff has gained momentum through a grass roots campaign unseen in Memphis in over thirty 30 years. "Voters understand that a change is needed in Memphis politics. We have one of the glass slippers and voters hold the other one. And everyone roots for Cinderella,” says Tom.

"So I like the name Cinderella for our campaign efforts,” says Tom. And as they said on the t al k radio show, "Cinderella is in the building.” Tom Guleff declares, “I intend to stay in the building. The wicked step-sisters won’t run me out of the race.”

Tom admits, “There's a lot to learn. I've met and listened to many people in this town, regardless of politic al bend. There is still much to do. And still a lot people to meet. I don't have al l the answers. I'll keep asking: What can we do to make Memphis the great city on the bluff?”
